Public Service Center Fellowships

The MIT Public Service Center provides an array of interesting paths that can connect you with the greater community beyond MIT. Through volunteer activities, grants and paid fellowships, students can teach in K-12 science classrooms, lead lab tours for adolescent girls, help families to learn computer skills, or create new plans and possibilities for community service agencies anywhere in the world. MISTI Funding for Cross-Border Research Collaboration

Faculty funding is available through two country-specific MISTI programs, to encourage cross-border research collaboration. The MIT-France Seed Fund for Collaborative Research supports budding research collaborations between groups at MIT and their colleagues in France. The Progetto Roberto Rocca award provides seed funds for research collaborations between MIT faculty and their counterparts at the Milan Politecnico in Italy. MISTI also has available Global Seed Funds. The deadline for these funds is October 27, 2008.
