International Coordinating Committee

The International Coordinating Committee (ICC) is the first point of contact to discuss or plan an international engagement. The ICC guides MIT faculty, researchers, students, and staff in planning, negotiating, and implementing international projects. Every country and project can raise unique questions, concerns, and procedures related to risk, safety and security, legal, tax and financial compliance, and culture.

The ICC was formed in 2012 by Claude Canizares, Vice President (International), and Israel Ruiz, Executive Vice President and Treasurer, and is composed of staff from the following MIT offices:
