Since J-WEL’s Grants in Education Innovation program began in 2017, J-WEL has awarded over $2.8 million in funding to MIT faculty for projects and research in pK-12, Higher Education, and Workforce Learning from many departments at MIT, including Linguistics, Mechanical Engineering, Literature, Architecture, Physics, and more.
J-WEL’s 2021 Grants in Education Innovation Call for Proposals is now open and accepting submissions for any of our three programs: pK-12 Education Innovation, Higher Education Innovation, and Workforce Learning Innovation Research.
