The Foundry Fellowship is an exciting new leadership development program for Africa-based founders who have scaled innovation-led companies. The Fellowship will bring together African leaders who have demonstrated a commitment to bringing about change through entrepreneurship and are ready to enter the next phase of their entrepreneurial journey. We are seeking 15 established entrepreneurs from Africa who have founded and scaled for-profit innovation-driven companies on the continent, with a preference for entrepreneurs operating in Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, and Uganda.
Selected Fellows will embark on a six-month interactive program designed to:
- Increase their leadership acumen,
- Explore pathways to impact as entrepreneurs, policymakers, thought leaders, and investors,
- Exchange practical knowledge with MIT faculty and students; and,
- Engage in multi-stakeholder networking opportunities in the MIT ecosystem.
The learning journey will culminate in a three-week in-person immersive program in which Fellows will have the opportunity to engage with the MIT innovation ecosystem.
Applications are now open. The application deadline is June 10, 2021 at 11:59 PM EDT.
